I’ve used this one many times. I bought it quite awhile ago when it was much cheaper.

I borrowed a friend of mines to look down the intake manifold on a ford 6 cylinder. We though we had a blockage of some kind. I could see the valves really good. I was impressed. Saved me from pulling the head off.

I have a cheap one that plugs into a computer. Works good, important to have light on the end of it. Also works great for cleaning your own ears!

I have this one from Amozon. Its cheap and works good enough. I have looked down into cylinders and found scored cylinders. Didnt even have to take it apart. The one i have puts out its own WIFI signal. You just have to go into your settings on your smart phone and look for the name of the camera and connect to it. You can take video or take a picture and save it to your phone if you want. Worth every penny.

I've got one similar to the one dcarp posted.

It comes in handy but hard to really tell the orientation, hard to control because the wand is so stiff and cumbersome, and too big to get into small places like a spark plug hole.

The picture is also small.

If I were going to buy another one I would go with the one that sends the picture to a phone or lap top.

I have a lizard cam that I think works well. I just need someone to remind me where I put it.

Ive got an old Milwaukee pistol grip type Ive used numerous times. I think there are better and cheaper ones available now with lots better quality video. Even the one I have has been mighty handy at times but the I wish the camera tube was a little smaller and more flexible. And the video on mine is not state of the art by any means but has served its purpose.

I bought a cheap one from Harbor Freight a few years ago after the governor weights "blew" in my Allis D-17.
Using it and four different homemade "retrievers" I was able to get all the "shrapnel" out of the engine without removing the timing cover which would have entailed removing the front of the tractor.
Well worth the 70 bucks it cost just for that one use. The ones that utilize a phone are the way to go now.

I have one that I could connect to a tablet PC which then gave me a much bigger screen to see. One mistake I made was getting one with only a 6 foot cable as sometimes it would be nice to be able to snake it farther and still see. The other mistake (and it wasn't really a mistake as it was the best available at the time) was to get one with a 1.3 megapixel camera. Newer ones can be had with a 5 megapixel camera which would get you a much better picture.

Mine did pay for itself when I dropped a plumbing fitting down inside a wall behind the shower. With that camera and a piece of stiff wire to guide it, I was able to fish the fitting out and thus avoid the 15 mile each way to town for a new one while helpers would be just sitting around waiting.

They sell a lot of it up here Glenster, it's an economy beer brand here but pretty good. They might even brew it here under license in Canada, not sure. The current rage nowadays of course is what they call "craft beer", smaller breweries who have convinced everyone that it's the way to go. While they rave about it, I still like the plain old brands.

I have an otc I’m not real impressed with the quality of the image it relays back but better than nothing I guess

(quoted from post at 17:46:02 01/13/21) in my younger days i killed a lot of brain cells drinking old milwaukee!

BTDT. Old Mil was under 2 bux a six pack so when times got rough and couldn't afford Coors or they were out, Old Mil it was.

I remember the old Schlitz commercial about always having Schlitz on hand at the bottom of the cooler. I always thought yeah because nobody bot that crap so there would always be Schlitz left in the bottom of the cooler. Even Old Mil was better than Schlitz. I used to like Buckhorn back in high school but it wasn't around long.

I got one a few years ago for a Christmas present. It wasn't expensive. It connects thru Bluetooth to my phone. Just yesterday I needed to know if my engine had a forged crank or a cast crank so I drained the oil and scoped it.
