When I was a kid I was carrying an 80 pound bundle of shingles on my shoulder climbing a wood ladder and a rung broke and I went straight down straddling the rungs. Well I have a 30" inseam and the next rung was about 29" off the ground. It was so close.

My brother fell down ladder when he was about 15 hurt himself, he was bleeding our grandfather pulled his pants and underwear off of him to check. My brother was very embarrassed, scared my grandfather so much he got rid of all his ladders and hired anything to do with ladder.
