Lets make it simple

Loren..... Prayers sent to you and your care takers. Life can be tough enough. Let's all stick together. Wingnut.

Well larry and the rest of you, thanks for the concern. I have a hard time setting comfortably here at the computer so I don't. I still have pumps and tubes and bags hooked into my neck, and stomach, so I am also having to tow a christmas tree with all this stuff around behind me.------- As you know, we heat totally with wood, so the wifey has had to become the "boiler engineer" and that has put a real burden onto her, along with giving me all my shots and keeping the pumps and feeding tubes changed out and operating. I don't understand why they have not let me switch to real food, even if it has to be run through a food processor.-------We have been very lucky that our youngest son and a couple of my younger cousins have stepped up to keep the wood supply cart full next to the boiler, and take care of removing the ashes.-------The hospital has cancelled my appointments with oncology several times now and that is getting very frustrating. The wife has been on the phone most of the day trying to get some answers and make new appointments.I am presuming that the hospital is becoming overwhelmed with the pandemic------------------Loren

Loren,

Great to hear from you, it's a lot to deal with no doubt, glad you have some help.
Stay the course, one day at a time, you'll get there !!!!!

All I can say is hang in there. We would all be there to help feed the boiler if we lived closer. Take care.

ONE DAY AT A TIME MY WIFE HAS IT TOO LAST YEAR WAS HECK SPECIALLY SINCE THANKSGIVING THROUGH NEW YEARS NOW WE ARE GETTING BETTER ITS A SLOW ROAD I CHECK HERE DAILY AND OUR PRAYERS ARE SAID EVERYDAY FOR YOU GUYS

Loren, wishing you the best on your journey. I know exactly what you are going thru, I am fighting the same thing only a little lower down on the body. I can't set at the computer more than about five minutes before I have to lay down. I have a smart phone that I watch videos on when I am not sleeping. Have lost a lot of my strength due to the shots I have to take. Used to work twelve hours a day and now down to three. They pulled all my teeth out last February which has made it very hard to find something soft to eat. May get dentures in February, don't know for sure yet. Good Luck.

It's good to be home!! Sorry for all that you are going thru, Praying that you have a full recovery!! Chris

Well, I don't know you from a hole in the wall Loren, but judging from the posts in this and other threads you must be a pretty good cat so I'll add my best wishes to you and yours as well.

Cancer sucks.
