Case 5120 or Ford 6610

Been looking around at smaller tractors with cabs, I really like the ford 5610-6610 but also like the case 5120’s. There’s a nice 5120 one state over but also a 6610 at the dealer in my town. Anyone have experience with either? Probably will only be doing hay work in the summer and grinding feed in the winter.

I have a 6610 it is a very good tractor, just bought New Holland and talked the neighbor into buying mine so it is still around.

I don't know anything about the Case but I've been baling hay with my 6610 cab tractor for several years, my actual choice would be a 7710 but this one is paid for and does a good job, the lower cab design makes some maintenance difficult and need to keep the radiator clean.

I'd make sure the 6610 is a series II model with black hood strip, it has several upgrades over the earlier blue strip models

I have a 5230 and its a good tractor for its size, runs my 15 foot batwing and i also use it for corn planting with 6 row no till planter. I not been around the others that much. and I do like the case for backing up and hooking up eqpt by yourself can see the hitch form the cab.

5120 3.9 cummins and LH power shuttle if that matters. Synchro 16 speed or 16 speed range powershift

6610 II likely 16 speed with dual power, RH reverse & dry clutch.

5120 newer design, brand new in 1989, 6610 based on 20 year old design with many improvements.

I would have either. I do prefer the styling and on the Ford though. Like to have a factory cab Series II someday. Add it to the bucket list.

8210 II :)
