I used a 2010 gas burner with the wide front back in the '70s with a four row cultivator on peanuts. Talk about boring, riding at 3-4 MPH all day long, trying hard not to chew the vines up!!

1966 Dad bought a 2010 diesel not much of a tractor. We had moved to a smaller farm and needed a smaller tractor over there. We still had a 900 Case, a 560 turbo and an 800com at the other farm. The 2010 could only pull a 2/16, what a drop from 4/16s on the other tractors. Traded it off on a 2510PS gas 2 years later that I still have, what an improvement.

I had a neighbor that bought one of the first 2010's made he still has it, and it is almost worthless. Another neighbor bought one of the last one's and it was a good tractor. I have a 2510 and it a really good tractor. All of them gas.

Dad bought a 2010Din 64. He traded a IHC 350 Utility Diesel. Which was a lemon thinking he was really moving up. But finally traded the 2010 Diesel for a 801 Ford Diesel. No power steering But a real tractor. My son bought it from neighbor last fall. The Ford was a 62. Traded down 2 yrs and gave a little boot. But a great deal.

Had a good customer that had two 2010’s. Said he bought the second one to make sure they were as bad as the first one! Hw said they Were! Traded both for one 4020 !

WOW.. Really

I know a gentleman that was a dealer mechanic and shop foremen with deere for over 30 years.(he left deere in 1997. His comment about 1010's and 2010's is very simple and straight forward. "Don't walk away from em...RUN AWAY from em!!!"
