General Question About RD450

Hello, My dad has a few of these motors. Some complete some in pieces and some pieces. I am just curious if these are something that is still used, do folks still look for parts for these often? Basically should we hang onto them or let them go for the price of scrap.
 
You might want to repost this on the Farmall/IHC board, there will be a lot more interest there.

Post on the tractor pulling board. I bet you’ll get a boat load of
responses. Pretty sure that those red diamond engines are
popular with the farmall pulling guys !
 
Don't junk them. Especially any main
bearings. Pullers are putting them
especially 501's in 460's and 560's. Ask
down on the pulling forum and IHC. Forum.
 
Hey I was curious if you still have your red diamonds? Im actually have been working on one the past year and havent been able to find parts for this thing. Im located near Fayetteville arkansas
