Read down below about the horse wrecks.had a few myself but always seemed to squeak
by.wouldn’t have missed it for the world.course that was when I was in my mid thirties.I don’t
bounce as well as I used to. I do miss working cattle though
 
I love working cattle and the horses but the last time a horse landed on top of me it realty screwed my leg up
 
I’ve had several over the years the last one was about 5 years ago and it messed up my hip pretty bad
 
Horse accidents are never fun, I've had several relatives and other people I know that have gotten seriously injured in horse accidents.
 
My wrecks happened back in the nineties and I never got but bumps and bruises from them,more luck than skill I guess.Plus the swampy land where we are usually makes for a softer fall/landing/crash.had to put my old mare down a couple months back.she was over30 years old.had her for 27 years.I stopped raising cattle back in 96.only help friends work there cattle now.
