Frosty Ford Morning

Woke up this morning to freezing fog. About 21 degrees at 7:00 am, the fog lifted and everything was covered in a thick coating of white, stayed on most of the day. Took the Ellen the 800 out for a ride through the woods, and thought I'd share some pictures from north central Wisconsin.

Wes,
Yep that is one of the rare ones with 4 wheel drive. It was actually an aftermarket option for the fords, kind of like the sherman transmissions. In fact that one has a sherman combo in it. Goes great in the snow, but will need chains on the rears when we get about a foot of snow.

Real nice looking 841 with Elenco. Find some pie weights if you can, that will help the traction in deeper snow. Made a big difference on my 860 when I was using it for snowblowing duty. Fun driving these old Fords in the snow with front wheel assist.
