Filmstrips from other brands?

I've been wondering which other companies had filmstrips of their products. It wouldn't surprise me if Deere had some, but how about Case or MF? Were there any from the short lines? I've yet to get a hold of Gehl about it, but I was thinking maybe New Holland had some? Farmhand? Hesston? Been having so much fun with this project, it would be nice to represent the other manufacturers as well if I can find any to copy.

I have a bunch of Deere ones. They came out in 1960 with the new generation 10 series tractors and were made into the late 60's. I have some Case combine ones as well. I would be interested in talking with you about copying mine and posting them for other people to enjoy.Do you have any IH forage ones? I like hay and forage equipment of all brands. Right now we are getting over the nnalert and then we got a bad stomach flu. Tom

I enjoyed your video. And it made me think how the 1200 was targeted to the plains farmers with 2-3000 acres. Nowadays most dairy farmers need a bigger tractor than the 1200 just to pull manure tankers. Things sure have changed on the farm

I would be more than happy to scan those for you. Can take care of that once you're feeling up to snuff. Got my email figured out again, so it has been left open.

I have the record for the #15 IH forage harvester, but no film. Will be tagging on the audio to that at the end of the filmstrip collection. Maybe someone out there has the film & no record? Who knows? There are also a couple strips with no record & a dupe or two. Those extras I wouldn't mind swapping for ones I don't have. Oh, there are three more baler videos coming up when I get them transferred. Was down for a couple hours due to a loose connector in the projector. Just got that taken care of before I jumped on here for a momentary break. Got a cramp between my shoulder blades from being hunched over the projector.

I have one on the 400 Case pull-type,, not sure if I have the 460 version or not, the plan is to offer them for sale through the Old Abes News someday,, the 1200 was a freebie to show what they were like, lots of hours invested getting them to the stage you seen in the 1200 one,, glad you liked it

When I get a chance I will write down which IH films I have and let you know in case I have some that you do not. I also have the repair films from the 70's and 80's. I always wanted to do what you are doing but have yet to find the time. I greatly appreciate your efforts. Thank you!

I'd be concerned about copying the Deere ones as Deere defends it's copyrights. I would assume these were copyrighted like all other info Deere put out.

I finally got around to checking out your youtbe channel link. I recognize your handle there from some of your comments on my video. Good to see some of these old machinery commercials being preserved this way. The ones I remember from 60s tv were mostly Massey Ferguson here. The sound track still runs through my head. The John Deere dealers put on a show in every small town called "Farming Frontiers" and they would have a long video showing all the latest equipment from JD. It was a good free show with coffee, donuts and door prizes.

Thanks for signing on to my channel! Massey would be another neat one to get my hands on. Going to research Deere some more as it's been pointed out
that they are copyright nazis. Those would be neat to post if at all possible.

I'm glad you enjoy! It would be nice to possibly trade for a couple I don't have. There is a spare copy for the 303 combine & both are in decent shape. Don't recall what the other one is. Let me know what you find when you get that far.

My Mother’s first husband was a magician. They made their living entertaining the women and children at IHC
dealer events. While the wife and kids watched the magic show , Dad heard sales pitches for new equipment. This
was about 1950.
