Happy Moo Year everyone. Hope the new year is prosperous and good to you all in 2021. Kow Farmer Kurt. 🐂👩‍🌾

Thank you everyone. I am standing next to a very gentle purebred black angus bull that is probably close to 3000 pounds. I call him big fella. He likes his back scratched too. 🐂👩‍🌾

He may be docile and all. I don't ever at anytime trust a bull of any breed. Heard to many stories about bulls and the hurten thay can put on you. Few people I know have had some serious injuries from bulls. One was a local dairy farmer another was a guy dad bought eggs from when I was a kid. Told dad about being trapped under the manure spreader. Another had his bang him up.

Well, it sounds like raising cattle is not for you. There is a million things around a farm that can hurt you, I'd take my chances with that mean ole bull.

I always thought Angus bulls were easier to deal with then Angus cows. Lost my bull guard a few years back. My wife’s mare would never let the bull come near me.

I've raised my share of cattle over the years and we had some bulls here too. Just because he's there doesn't mean you trust them . Besides there is a difference between is caution and stupidity. Cautious doesn't necessarily mean a person should not raise cattle. Just be aware of his surroundings while out in the lot with a bull.
