Bell housing sae number

Anybody have any idea what the sae bell housing number is on a ford 5000

I'm gonna say they are proprietary and not SAE.

I would agree with your assumption. I would be very surprised if a tractor manufacturer building their own engine and drivetrain would bother making the interface per SAE specs as there would be nothing to be gained by doing so.

Ultra Dog has it right not even close to a SAE pattern .

Yes there is a bell housing for that engine. Have to go thru Ford Power products. Years ago dealership worked at put a BSD in Ingram roller to replace Hercules.

Sae bell housing is usually a round generic bellhousing mount, some trucks and equipment engines use them but haven't seen many tractors that size if any that do. An adapter could be made and often is for fitting into different equipment but the factory pattern is proprietary as far as I know
