I know how he feels about the hospital.
I was in there a week years ago when my liver shut down after taking an antibiotic I found out I was allergic to.
My friend who was my Doctor that died in the plane crash last year told me "The hospital is the worst place to be when you are sick"
I think he was correct.

In 2010 I was in the hospital due to burns. I got burnt bad enough to get skin grafts, so was mentally ready for the long haul. Like 6-8 weeks. After a week they said "looks like you'll go home Monday. I must say it was the worst thing they could do. Monday couldn't et there fast enough. And worse, on Monday they said nope maybe Tues. The last of those 12 days was BAD, wanting to get out of there.

At least he's getting close, I wouldn't like being held up either. Still good news. Thanks for the update!

Hopefully his captivity soon comes to an end and he can be home by the wood fire.

About 500 years ago I was in the hospital with a staph infection in my heart. They said I would need to be there on antibiotics by IV for four to six weeks. I wanted to get out soon. Then they told me that if it had been a few years sooner they would have let me out when I was feeling better. It would not have been cured so I would end up back there and after a few cycles I would have died. After that I was fine with staying there as long as they said. I ended up being there for 26 days.

SEEMS TO BE STANDERD OPERATING PROCEDURE FOR AL HOSPITALS THEY DO THAT HERE TOO GET YOUR HOPES AND FAMILYS UP TOO ONLY TO DELAY WE WILL KEEP PRAYING FOR HIM HERE CANT KEEP A CASEMAN DOWN!! OR COOPED UP

A number of years ago when i got shot on opening day of deer season, A Monday, the ER Dr and Surgeon said it will be a couple of weeks there---Thank God things went well and i was released that Saturday--but had to live with the wound vac 24/7 for about 3 weeks

I would think a glitch in the insurance would mean you get wheeled out behind the dumpster. What do they expect him to do if the insurance falls through? Empty bedpans? Wash the dishes? I recommend combining the two. He'll get out of there faster. Lol

Lets hope they are feeding him. I went to get my blood drawn early this summer and the doctor said my temperature was around a hundred and one and threw me in the hospital for two days. Didn't mind being there, except there was nothing wrong with me and they didn't give me anything to eat while I was there. I was admitted late in the day and they said, Sorry, the kitchen is closed. Last they mentioned anything about food.

The way you say “ The year I got shot on opening day .....” Makes it sound like the year before you got shot on a different day. Did they shoot you more than once ? Glad you are better.

Sorry it wasn't clear--when i said a number of years ago i thought that would make it clear---no only shot once thank God,shooter didn't get a second shot off, thought i was a deer--and yes i have fully recovered
