Bobcat Quick Attach Plate Thickness

Good Morning Gentlemen, we are progressing on our build of the box grader attachment for the skid loader and I had a question on the quick attach plate. Online they seem to be sold in thicknesses ranging from 3/16" to 1/2". Is this dimension referring to the piece of steel that lays flat against the back of the bucket? I measured (7) different attachments we have here, and they all have different measurements. Let me know, thanks fellas.

Its the thickness of the mounting plate that secures to the loader , the heavier the load the thicker the plate you need , if your running a heavy pavement grinder vs say a snow blade

I think the one I am working on is 3/8.

I have used 1/4” plates from Titan for several projects and none have failed. On a fork set we abused terrible until we bent the forks but the plate was unharmed. I see no need to use anything else.

Yes, the mounting is universal, but varies in thickness for strength.
