Yes, thanks for the picture! I remember being 12 years old driving the SC Case with father riding the binder- he was strong enough to handle the bundle carrier. Only our rig was converted from ground-driven to a PTO from the tractor. Leo

That picture brings back memories!

One of the first jobs my sister and I had on the farm, as soon as we were big enough, was to ride the binder while our dad pulled it with a Fordson tractor.

We still do oats that way. Farmall C, but we could have posed for that picture. Bind the oats, stack them on hay wagons, and take them to Blanchard steam & old tractor show for threshing with a steam powered separator.
