Both Dodge brothers succumbed to the 1918 epidemic. The wives sold the business to Walter Chrysler. Because of the Dodge Brothers good reputation, he built cars under the Dodge Brothers badge for a a number of years. The wives didn't get what the business was worth, in my opinion.

Looks like about a 53 Dodge. Or for the Boys north of us a Fargo. We had one that was a 531 ton with a hoist for grain and have a 50 ton and a half with hoist for grain though neither has been used or run in years. Big problem with them was the Siamese cylinders in them with blowing head gaskets. Good engine otherwise. Would start in cold weather with 6 volts easily at -20F.
