Du-al ?

Du-Al was founded by Elmer Miller. I believe they're still in business selling loaders under the Miller name.

Ok, that makes sense,Du-All, was based in Sioux Falls S,D. And Miller is made in Larchwood Iowa, I think,Just across the border!

Info from the two websites:

Woods acquired DU-AL Manufacturing in 1993 according to the Woods website. From the History on Miller website, It appears the Miller was building under the Miller Loaders Incorporated name in 1971. The only mention of the DU-AL manufacturing name was once in the history prior to that, saying Elmer Miller was the founder of Du-Al in the 1940s.

DB ..... I've heard there are people who have seen the movie so often that they know the whole script word for word. The Hanson (Carlson in real life) brothers, what a crew they were, Jack played in nearby Edmonton (WHA) for a while, he got in over 250 NHL games in his career.

A little known classic. The boys were local MinnesOtans I believe. Their career after as cult movie characters is likely more lucrative than their playing career. Strother Martin is irreplaceable.

Sorry for the hi-jack SV.

Probably AGCO. They seem to most 'shortlines' these days.I used to have a '41 M with a 320 dual.IMHO,it was a much better loader than an F-11 Farmhand.

I have a Dual 325 on my SMTA. When I got it I contacted Woods and they sent me an operator's manual. Messicks has seals and other parts for them.

Woods does like said,, I think i still have some new cylinder kits in the shop if you get me your cylinder bore size I would send them to you if I have the right size left for yours I have not rebuilt any in at least 10 years and will not be as I shut down my shop to customers, you will need to buy the correct Dual tool to do them though,, I really do not want to let mine go in case I need it, some day,, seems like I gave 40-50 bucks for it but its a MUST to do them with out damaging them, they wear out much faster than about any other brand if the loader is used a lot,, I used to do the same ones every one to two years for guys

That’s wonder news I was hoping to get away from doing seals every 6 months like I have to do on my old farmhand . So far none are leaking .

In all my years of owning a Farmhand F-10 I can only think of one time I had to replace the seals but those are just one-way cylinders too,, I should have added the ones I was redoing a lot was guys with grapples on them and they liked to carry two big bales around so that may have made them wear faster,, when I worked at the Ford dealership we sold Dual and we sold a lot of cylinders kits then too I always just though they wore faster,, maybe part of it is due to them not having chrome rods,, if i think about it I will see what sizes I have left,,

Mine has chrome rods . I lift a lot with my farmhand and that’s probably why I go through a lot

Ouch,,, had to replace glands and nuts plenty of times on ones they distorted doing that,, I will snap another pic of the wrench for it if you have not seen them,, makes it a five to ten min job,, plus the 20 minutes of clean up and polishing of the bad spots lol
