I was pleased at the responses when I asked for help, I dont have the knowledge to check all the switches out, so I may do what was suggested, put a starter button on I have built cars from the ground up, but have just basic knowledge of electronics. Thanks again.

I would suggest you contact your New Holland dealer and inquire if a relay is part of the starting circuit on you tractor and ask if it tends to be problematic. As in they have had to replace them on other tractors. If so then inquire of the price and I am sure they will tell you where to look to replace it. I would say this would be far better than adding on a cobble push button that may cause other issues in the future as well as be a possible safety issue. Just my honest opinion.

if you can see the switch and if its easy to get at just jump the 2 wires together that will bypass it and it will start if that's the problem, if no difference then don't need to worry about that switch, as you eliminated one thing.

Make sure you read my reply. It's almost as easy as adding a switch and keeps all the safety switches in play. More than happy to talk you through it. Did you try the jumper wire test? My e-mail is open.
