Tomstractorsandtoys

I saw that one a few weeks ago. I am originally from about 30 miles west of there. Wife says I bought to many toys this year and have to either sell some or finish some of the projects I now have. Tom

I saw it while checking out Harrisburg, PA John Deere CL which I do once per week. I thought I would pass it on. I understand having spent enough for 1 year. I was thinking about another combine for this fall but I had already had redone the cylinder on the 6620 earlier in the year so I just ran with that and the weather has been decent for the most part this fall. Hope to finish maybe just a little after Thanksgiving. I would not mind a 44 spreader as we had one during the late 1960's but that is too much money for collecting purposes for me.

I went and looked at a 44 three beater a few weeks ago in IL. The pics were rather poor but he said it was a very nice low use spreader. He was selling because it was to small. Drove 2 hours to find a rusted out piece of junk. When I pointed out how the metal at the back was all rusted out he said just add a panel to it. He wanted an offer but I don't want junk as I plan to use it and want a good dependable unit. If I don't find a good one next winter I might just rebuild my single beater. My beater parts are all real good but the wood is getting bad. Tom
