salesman at machinery show several years ago told a friend and me that a valtra gains hp at everygearbox so a 100 hp at engine would be maybe 135-150 at drawbar or pto. That is how dumb I looked I guess..Always thot gearboxes absorbed some power. not increased it,might be too old to learn, Have a blessed day.

They are either extremely good and nobody wants to part with them.
Or orphans in North America as out of 120 for sale on external_link.com there is one in the U.S. and three in Canada.

This one a friend just bought it and he says they drove it and now it wont move in any gear ⚙️ but first

they are very good and my relatives all love them. as for your problem I believe it is and electrical issue but can't remember how it works.
Parts are not cheap but nothing is anymore

In this area they are 99% equipped with the forestry package, no complaints heard with that type of abuse, a used unit is rare to find. Maybe try " Valta.ca " for a web site/info source ?
Maybe a little sample of tranny oil check for metallic[excessive] content may narrow things down, most likely as mentioned electrical item/connections.
without the forestry package some wiring may be subject to corn stalks/weeds/alders etc wherever it came from?, maybe check the running voltage at the battery, just in case it will start but not charging enough to keep a computer[?] control going? i do see the snow, so thats a long shot.....
hope it helps

Valtra was big among the rich BTO's up here maybe 15-18 years back. Then they disappeared. Haven't seen or heard of one in many years.

They absorbed Volvo tractors and then were absorbed by AGCO. You will
see some S/N tags on Massey Fergusons that show they were built by Valtra.

Not an expert. All I can say is that I think in Denmark where I am, and I guess in all Scandinavia, Valtra is among the 3 brands with the highest resale value. The other 2 are JD and Fendt. Those for sale usually have many hours on them.

They were good tractors, most were forestry use. I wouldn't be too scared of one in good shape.

You could buy them in several colors like a pickup. I have old sale lit somewhere showing the color palette to pick from.

A distant relative had a red one and a silver one bought brand
new this is the first blue one ive seen
