Storing ear corn in gravity boxes?

Here is the solution I came up with. The corn was not warm, so I think I will be ok. Its been in the boxes for a month now and went in at 15-17 percent.

Good idea, now if you had some wet corn you could set a squirrel cage fan up to it,, and have some naturally dried corn!
 
That is a new solution to an old problem. Congratulations. The old adage "Keep it simple stupid" once again overcomes.
 
Good idea. I store a couple loads every year but only for 4-6 weeks and only had a problem once with it getting a little mold. I
like the idea of putting a little fan in the door now and then especially if you plan to store it till spring.
