I believe he started turning more responsibility over to his kids and is spending more time with his grandkids from what I remember. I do miss his stories myself.

Grumpiness is usually in the eye of the beholder. I'm not referring to JD Seller, I really don't remember him at all, but a lot of the guys who have packed up and left the YT site for that very reason were VERY often in the middle of word wars with others and were every bit as grumpy as the ones being accused. Hopefully this post will not set off a series of "please come back" replies.

I think he posted that he was also going to be helping out more and have less time for computer stuff. I imagine he is busy with harvesting work now. I also enjoyed his posts.

Some people took offense to how well his operation worked and were critical of him, so he left.

I am poor with names, the fella in Kansas or Missouri area a couple years ago, he ran red tractors he kinda reminded me of JDSeller, couple fellas that would come on and tell how the day was going.

Jon and SV do so now.

Interesting to hear what the others are up to these days. I can understand getting burned out from the discussions over time.

I suppose his farming got hit by the BIG wind too. I always enjoyed his posts. I've reduced my posts some. Gets harder to have something useful to post since I'm not a bona fide farmer.

Gives me more time to practice music and I DO NEED the practice!

Some people have very thin skin, and very opinionated. if anyone disagrees with them they take their toys and go home! I miss some, like Geo TH, anyone remember the American in Germany that worked on a military base? He left a long time ago!

SDE, that sounds like a conspiracy theory. I agree with Crazy horse even though there is no drama in his answer.

Initially Dave2 didn't have a choice about it.

It’s a very noticeable cycle on this board. Many people get grumpy/irritable as winter drags on and into mud season. Not too bad lately, everyone has been out doing what they do and enjoy.

This is Yesterday's Tractors Forum
NOT Yesterday's Farmers Forum

I also miss JD Seller. He sure had a lot of wisdom and I really enjoyed hearing about his farming operation. I often wonder how his restoration project is coming along. I believe it was a little Massey.

Ditto- I would like him to at least come on here once in a while-I really enjoyed reading about his family operation, and he was a pretty sharp guy too. Mark.

I was also wondering about him and Allen from Nebraska. I have been here since before 2008 and have seen several long time posters come and go. I just take everything with a grain of salt.
