Bad Day Turned Out Good!

Well it started out ok I went out to my property to load my scrap metal on the trailer with my 3000 ford. There was a grill laying on it's back and I grabbed the handle to stand it up. Well I pulled hard and the handle broke causing me to twist my ankle and fall backwards on it. Ouch! 260 lbs on it sprained the you know what out of it. Well that kind of mad me made and then I went to move the truck and trailer didn't see a piece of metal and ripped open the side wall of a brand new tire I put on my truck a couple of months ago. So I'll break even after I haul the scrap and buy a tire. Then trying to get the dam spare out from under the truck and change the flat with my ankle killing me wasn't easy. While I was doing that my wife called and said she wanted to come out and go fishing. Well that was good and we spent the afternoon alone fishing which made me feel better. But to keep the day going at it had been she caught a bigger fish than me. In the end it was all worth it watching her catch the biggest bass she ever caught. All I could think of while I was laying on my stomach to get her fish, I couldn't bend over because my ankle hurt so bad is please God don't let me lose her fish! That would have been the worst part of the day!

I hate fishing.
I would much rather go catching.

Nice fish! When are they going to be ready to eat?

I put them in the freezer going to try and catch a few more this weekend and then the fish hit the grease?

There is something about fishing that makes all your worries go away.

Fishing is the next best thing to catching!

I haven’t kept a bass since about age 14. Always toss them back. But bluefish or strippers are another thing. Yum.

A former co worker said that time spent fishing did not count against you.
