In sight as warm as it has been I’m actually glad I do not want the new grass seed to sprout until spring

The ground is about perfect for moldboard plowing here, in spite of our recent snow. Weather watchers are predicting the next 6 days will be unusually warm and sunny. Should be able to finish off the corn harvest before winter finally settles in.

Yes we see some pretty dry weather and we always have. Seen it so dry in the fall it will tear plow bottoms off and break ripper springs and break the spring trips to pieces broke 2000$ worth of ripper in parts one day

It was the church farm for 50 years then it was sold and put into grass then sold again and we are putting it right back into grass. The rock piles have huge dirt ridges around them from being plowed with a one way plow for years and years

We were supposed to get snow but it never came . Ir got cold really cold fot about ten days then back up to 64 degrees thie last week next week it is supposed to be really cold again small chances of snow after today it can do what it wants

Yes sir, been there done that.. so far all I have done is lightly disk the stubble... Id like to spread manure then plow it, But until we get some moisture its not going to happen. They are predicting moisture over the weekend... Watch we will get a little then 3 days of wind to dry it right back out...
