now here is a genuine old shed find!sat there for over 30 years. and the wheels even proved that. all tires were flat but managed to get them pumped up . had to use a bar and chip away at the frozen ground and jacked her up and out. had to remove muffler to get it out of shed as the walls sunk down also. would you believe this tractor has only 2600 hrs. one of the most originals i have found. even the battery covers i had to pick the out of the frozen ground. that was the worst seeing they are rusted on the ends. also have the 2 original 6 volt battery hold downs. and that was my day today from 5:00 am and got home around 9:00 pm. close to 1000km trip. this was a good halloween treat! /video>

Fantastic find rustred .....:) and even a Diesel!
As a kid we neve seen a 560 out here on the AB /BC border.
How many forward Gears?
Bob...

I bet the original owner never put chloride in the rear tires !, they look to clean for that, that does look nice !!!

Nice find!! Is the motor loose?? I like Olivers, but if I ran across that, I'd probably have to get it.

It's AMAZING how long rims will look nice when not exposed to that stuff.
Dad never put Calcium Chloride in the '51 M and after almost 70 years the rear rims still look great. The '54 Super H that had fluid when we bought it in '68 and I drained the rear tires 8-9 years ago, you can see pits in if you look close. The rims on the M will be fine for another 70 years. The Super H rims might make it another 20 years.

Anyhow, That's CRAZY how deep in the ground that front wheel sunk.

Great find! That kind of discovery, whether tractor truck or car are extremely rare, especially one it that good of condition.

Found a Massey 50 that they figured had sat for 27 years and not moved. Tires even had some air in them but had sunk in pretty bad. Just like yours, just over 2600 hours. After some fiddling around and fresh gas, we drove it on the trailer and brought it home. Original as original can be. Needs rims and a few other things but happy with our find. Congrats on your find.

thanks guys. i have the gas model quite comparable to this one in original condition but was keeping an eye out for a diesel. the middle age guy gave me the endless belt about 50 ft. he said his father and grandfather used to make chop with this tractor, and it had a post pounder on the front before. i looked at the drawbar and the hole is round and small so appears like it was not used much with implements. the shed roof was good where it sat as i checked that out too. other side was full of holes. pipe was covered so another bonus. and yes no calcium in rear rims. is that what they call double bevel rims? all 4 wheels were sunk like that and the frozen ground was a bonus when jacking it out. i was surprised the brakes were not seized either. has fuel in the tank another bonus. the engine appears stuck but i will steam off the tractor today and get it in the shop. then remove glow plugs and give it some medicine. probably be hybernating all winter. ooh and it has the triangle stamp on the serial # plate like my gas 1958 model. i presume ihc had his brg. problem all fixed by 1960 ?

Great find! That tractor will fit right in at home at your place! Glad it went to someone who knows how to run them:)

That is a great find, really neat to see in original condition. How did you hear about the tractor? Seems once you find one, word gets back to you about another one tucked away somewhere.

Nice find. I am surprised all the tires held air. Keep us informed on the first starting. I found a 1937 Indian motorcycle like that. Sitting in a shed with the rims buried. Stan

Yes, those are double bevel rims....gives you more flexibility when adjusting the wheel spacing.
