I have a junk SuperMTA,and a 400 rearend/transmission out back.Not enough left of the Smta to 'restore'.Been thinking of makeing my good SuperM into a SMTA.I also have a 400 that is TA and LPTO 'delete'. It's like a SuperM in 400 'clothes'.Was thinking of putting my 400 onto the junk rearend and have live pto and TA.Kind of hate to 'butcher up' my good 'old Super'.Ive owned him for 40 years. The 400,maybe, if I can muster up the energy.But both tractors serve me well as they are. Dont need LPTO or TA as I have newer tractors that do_OK,I think I'm talking myself out of it. LOL!
 
I have a friend 10 miles down the road with a real nice 450 with wd front,fast hitch,power steering. BUT,It has a stuck engine.Been sitting for 10 years. Maybe I should buy that one and overhaul itinstead? Always need another tractor. NOT! LOL! :)
 
Steve, could come here and help me. Bought 5 tractors ,got two home yesterday and will bring the other 3 home today.
 
The 450 for a reasonable buck, would be a possible trading stock for automated irrigation equipment!!! Jim
 
Does make it nice baling hay when you have enough tractors that you don't have to unhook anything.

Do not want to go back to the days when one tractor did it all.
