Anyone know if these are edible and/or what kind they are?

they look like a toadstool. i would not eat them.

No one can say for certain based on just that picture, but they don't look like anything edible that I'm familiar with.

I have no idea what those mushrooms are, but I can tell you this much...

There are thousands of varieties of mushrooms - both wild and cultivated. The only sure way to identify many of them is to make a spore print and examine it under a microscope.

Many varieties are edible. Many are not. They vary from tasty morsels like morels to deadly ones like the amanita virosa. Some are delicious, some will make you sick, and some will kill you. Not worth taking chances with them. Best thing is to take a few samples to an experienced (preferably certified) mycologist for positive identification.
