educate me on what I found when i dismantled this winter project please, It
has a clutch that is brass pucks about the size of a silver dollar, why and
are they any good, I have never seen one before Thanks

There not brass. They may look like it though are not it is a metallic clutch disc. Somebody changed it out in the past.

It is a button clutch. When you are changing a clutch and you want better hold for the same diam. you replace with a button clutch.

onsidering how stout my linkage breaking Center Force clutch was behind my FE, I hadn't considered one for the 25 hp range.
