Leaking steering cylinder

I use low viscosity HyGuard in my tractor hydrostatic steering, the cylinder leaks, will regular HyGuard leak less.

Yes but probably not much. The difference in winter may be more substantial, but next warm weather may show similar leakage. Jim

Why don't you reseal it? I am just doing that to the 4 steering cylinders on a couple of big old Versatiles.

Assuming your tractor's cylinder is a rebuildable unit it's not real hard to do.

Most are rebuildable. Telling you to replace it would be only if you needed to use the tractor with zero down time. Even then I would suggest rebuilding the old one to put on a shelf. Jim
