Unstyled JD spark plug wire ends

I have a 1938 JD B unstyled. Wondering if anyone knows what type of ends came on the spark plug wires originally. I’m going to get the original cotton braid style wires and would like to have the original style ends as well. I’ve seen tractors with, push on clips, ring style ends and rubber boots. Just wondering what was original. Thanks

no such thing as boots on these old tractors. most spark plugs back then had a round nut on the spark plug and the wire just clipped on it, as push on clip style. spark plugs now a days do not have that style of nut. you need just the push on 90 degree end at the plug.

And the bare ended plug will remind you of its presence when you lean your leg into it while peering into the gas tank with the engine running. One reminder per lifetime is enough.
