I would LOVE 1-3 Foot of nice WET snow that would really help here, still at less than 4" of total H20 since 2019 here,, snow to us is Very useful,, we did get a small amount a few weeks back just not enough to make slop like you have there

no, its in southern alberta . 5 hrs. south of me. i am north of edmonton in central alberta , but quite cool here and freezing at night. had ice on rain barrels this morning.

Rustred are you in high prairie and peace river country? A good neighbour's sister is married to a farmer in the high prairie realm. I went through there in 76, awhile ago now.

I remember deer hunting in snow above my knees in my teenage years... deer season opened Saturday, so let it come..

I've got enough hay and straw to get the cows thru till late april. Ive still got some fall tillage to do, but would prefer a little moisture, if it has to wait till spring it will..
