My wife says one of these would be nice in our line up. Tracy Brown, you ever seen one? Anyone here have one? Or more a European tractor?

I still want a Ford 501 off set. But this one would be great!

I have a blue Power (front half)/Super (back half) Major wide front, and a yellow Power Major that still has the front loader, but lost its backhoe before I bought it. The pic is Mike at 2019 plow day. Tractor runs super cheap on fuel.

We have a 54 wide front.. not too many of the narrow fronts around.

in fact, it was the purchase of the Fordson that brought me here.
Ours has both a loader and a backhoe on it..

The first Super Majors were exactly what you have there, a Power Major engine and a Super back end. :0)

They put a Minimec pump on them in 1962 before increasing the HP to 55 with the New Performance in 1963 which also had an improved lift with an adjustable drop restrictor.

There were two styles of row crop, this one was built by Roadless Traction in Houslow, the other which is rarer was a single wheel conversion built by Bettinsons.

I have not come across a row crop Dexta before.

I was talking to an old Ford mechanic, after I bought it, complaining that I couldn't find a serial number on it. He said "you know what that one is, don't you? Back half of one tractor, and front half of another". Made sense then, as I was told the missing halves had the serial numbers.

Could be she has had a new block and no one bothered to re-stamp the number. The other place is on the flange behind the starter but that was not used (officially) after 1956.

The casting codes on all the cast housings would give you a rough date.

You willing to come to South Texas to pick one up. I have one with both a wide and a narrow front. Also has a front end loader. I don’t have a price on it yet but it can be bought. It’s a Power Major. Tony
