Now I have two

I had a Dremel tool for years. I liked it because it could be used for very small grinding or cutting work. It finally broke. I bought another one. I put it somewhere, and forgot about it. I needed one, and couldn't find it. I thought maybe I didn't have one after all. So I bought another. Then a month or so later I found the first one. Is this how it starts? Stan

Sounds like me. One of these days after I expire the kids are going to wonder why I had so many of the oddball things. Got to counting one time and found 7 try squares. Lots of other things the same way.

Forgot, after I bought my last dremel tool I found three more in the basement. One was bad and I remembered it but not the other two.

What I do. I need a tool but can't find it. Now I know I have it somewhere but where. So I buy a new one. Then use it when it comes in to do the job. Then I tell myself where would you put this so I can find it next time. I think real hard and then I go put it at that place. Then I find the old one. I have done that more times in my gun shop than I want to let people know about it. I have been doing this for over 61 years now so maybe it's a age thing.

I'm still looking for a 1/2" open & box combination wrench that I used a year ago last spring. Finally got another, which usually leads to finding the misplaced one, but not this time. Guess I'll have to buy another if I want to find where I put the original one.

A few years back my brother cleaned out his shop and ended up with twelve 15/16th wrenches. He probably has twenty by now. He hasn't changed. Can't find it - go buy another one.

I love Dremel tools. I have had one or morer since the sixties. Three years ago when my wife die I moved to a retirement home and had to divestm myself of all but a few tools. Gave away at least $8,000 dollars of tools from two shops including 2 dremels and assorted attachments. In July I moved to another Retirement with bigger rooms and now I have 2 new rotary tool but not Dremel, they are Wen's and only cost $20 with all the tools and cbles, Only problem is that they are not a powerful as a good Dremel of which I JUST ORDERED . Now a three tool old timer. Fum to carve with.one used on a stand like a drill press, one mounted horizontally and one with a entenxon cable for hand work Henry

1/2 and 9/16 wrenches seem to be my nemesis. I have even bought some a pawn shops and placed them in one of three toolboxes: barn, garage, basement. Still have problems finding one. It is amazing how tools can sprout legs.

I have had people want to help me in my shop and I tell them to leave tools out so I can put them back where they belong or just throw them away because if they are not where they belong you may as well not have them

I'm usually in the store. I see the tool. Oh! I just broke one of those. I buy it, get it home, and put it in the drawer next to the replacement I bought a month ago. . . .
