Words you never thought your wife would say

I think you need to go back and look at the name. Richard does not come close to looking like David

You should try up here when there having the shoot out boats every where and rough as rough can be. But in all the time 40 year of it I can count on on hand the times I was on the lake. But I spent to many days/weeks/month on the water in the navy

My wife calls me today while I am cutting beans and she shelling corn and says we need a bigger combine. Then she proceeds to tell me she's been waiting 15 min for the grain cart. So shell faster to wait longer?

(quoted from post at 19:36:39 09/26/20) I want us to get a bigger boat and do not care what it costs.

Did not expect that this trip.

Uh oh!
Does "bigger" mean the requisite retired persons extra large pontoon boat with bells and whistles?
So you can putt around the lake just before sundown sipping umbrella drinks?

Mine encouraged me to buy a tractor the last couple yeRs. I took a while to find a 8970 I liked.

After 2 days to learn to drive a power shift, she said that’s nice, you should get another.

I’m still trying to recover from that......

Paul

My boss sold his condo last fall(on the Lake) and the 30 ft tri toon,he got $30,000.00 out of the boat and he bought it used. He says the traffic on the lake is getting so bad that they only used the boat before 10:00 am and on weekdays.

Hello David G,

I stand corrected! I do try to address my answers with the posters name. I don't always get it right,

Guido.

David you cannot ever know what real water and boating is as i have. I've been under the arctic circle and to the Med and in Hurricane weather both under and above. Image doing 30 degree rolls on a sub 150 feet plus under water due to a hurricane or 30 degree rolls on an aircraft carrier I've done both. I've probably traveled more miles by sea then you will ever do. 6 years in the navy on a sub where I did 3 tours for 90s days each under water then a med cruise on the JFK CVA67 for 9-12 months. You can keep your small boats I've been on bigger then you will ever be

When we stopped to just look at the new Kubota M6060. "Either buy it or have a sale and get rid of all the tractors and equipment you have. (We owned the new tractor within 15 minutes) and I haven't had an auction yet. Consequently I haven't been in the hospital in the last 3 years because of my lungs during hay season

I was eyeing a real nice used F250 last year. More truck than I really needed and I was on the fence. She said "If you like it, buy it." Of course that sets a precedent for any of her future purchases.

You sound like one of the people who cussed and spit on the Vietnam veterans so as such please leave me alone from now on since your being so disrespectful to a veteran

Well Richard here's a hint. David is so far to the left he has trouble knowing that things are getting bad in the U.S.

Why I was in during the time. I did not go to Vietnam but I am a Vietnam era vet so again LEAVE me alone as you have been asked to do stupid old man

Maybe if you'd quit bragging about being in the service (like a lot of people on here) they quit picking on you.

Hello Richard G,

I addressed my answer to David G. But I wrote Richard G? Just for the record, I have both of you on my A list.

David G got the green light for a bigger boat from the boss, I said go get one then.
It stopped there for me. He did say it was ok. Now you know,

Guido.

I did 6 years 1974-1980. I was on the SSBN633 for 3 tours and then one the JFK CVA67 and did a Med cruise.
