A.C. wc spark plug size-fuel and tire problems

My neighbor would like to sell his WC. I am willing to help get it back into running shape. It hasn't been started in a few years. I would like to be able to take the correct size spark plug wrench with me to remove the plugs and oil the cylinder wall. I know that my F-20 takes a larger than normal plug. Would it be the same size? Also can a person pour a galloon of E-85 into the tank and drain it thru the carburetor bowl to clean the fuel system? He said that the tires were new twenty years ago. It is parked in a building on a concrete floor. Will the tires still be good? I saw the tractor last year and the tires looked good, but will they be permanently flat spotted?

Spark plug wrench - 13/16". If you don't have regular gas I guess E85 would work to flush. I'd be inclined to take the carburetor apart for cleaning but if it was relatively clean when it was parked the carb may just work fine the way it is. Hopefully the magneto is still giving spark, if not the points need cleaning. Having been parked dry, all may be fine. Even if the tires are low on air or flat most cracks go away once inflated... tires are tough. Please let us know how you make out getting it running, thanks.

If it has the big plugs, they're 7/8. If you take a deep 7/8 and 13/16, one is pretty sure to fit.

I wouldn't try flushing the tank through the carb. That will likely just flush trash into the carb. You could disconnect the line from the carb and drain the old gas, then put in some fresh, let some of that flush the line, then reconnect the line, pull the drain plug, let some of the fresh gas flush the carb bowl. Save the E85 for later when you can take the tank off and do a thorough cleaning.

As long as the tires have not sat flat they will probably be OK. The flat spots will eventually work out as long as the side walls are not cracked.
