Chicken poo is the stinkingest stuff to be near, Phew!!!!
I used to work all day and half the night till I was in my fifties. Now at nearly 60 I either want to work half the night or half the day, but not both , lol. And not in the same day !

I would not mind doing some fall plowing here on a couple fields, always my fav job when i use to plow every year,, my ground though when its this hard will eat a set of lays up in no time so thats out for now hope we both get some much needed soaking rains, this was a few years back,, there was a bit of moisture still but I had been letting the cows pasture on this field and Boy they had it packed down tight,
cnt

Not yet hopefully get it in the next mong maybe two. Need to to get it home this field needs a big ripper that will work down about 2 feet

When the ground freezes it will be time for a long winters nap some days get pretty long but time on the tractor is always relaxing. I would rather work in the compost than in the dry fertilizer that stuff stinks and it’s like gear oil it sticks to you like glue and it won’t wash off.

That is a nice rig you’ve got there. I don’t know if these moldboards will ever scour that nice ever again they sat a lot of years in the dirt and they are pitted pretty badly but they are starting to shine up a bit . We got a little bit of rain overnight i got to bed at 3 and it must of come some time beteeen then and 8

Wow someone else that understands that tractor seat time is therapy.. Some days after work at the paying job, you just have to go run around on a tractor to clear the head!

Finished plowing it wae a dry hard piulling sob the whole time averaged less than an acre an hour even with 9700 pounds and a dual on the land wheel that plow hung back like a big cat by the tail . Ripped up some old cement been working on it for 3 years now must have been cemented in posts for a hay shed of pole barn i guess plowed 6 out today and there is still a couple more . Got my wheels set a few inches to narrow i will widen them out when i put the loader mounts on. Had to mow the weeds on a 2 acre lot for s guy then got home put the dual back on and got the disk hooked up for Monday

Where do you get your chicken litter from, it's good stuff, I'll be spreading some on some rented hay ground soon.
We'll let it lay through the winter then add some nitrogen and potash in the spring, it'll make the ground turn off a lot of hay.

It comes from an egg farm they must have a lot of chickens
we do 4000 pounds to the acre on 3500 acres
