Seems like the trees are exceptionally colorful this year. Took these today. Love this time of year, but this year is better than most.

I was going to post about everyone favorite fall colors. Maples are just starting to turn here but already dropping leaves because it's been so dry this year. One of my favorites are ash that run from pale yellow to a deep purple. I also like the contrast of the goldenrod and ironweed. Pictures are from 2012.

Not much fall color here!! My new Amish neighbor has been clearing the hedgerow between me and the home farm with a big Bobcat track skidsteer. He has made things look much better since he bought the neighboring farm a month ago.
Kevin mowed the last of the 3rd cutting Sunday and they round baled it yesterday.(balage).
I am still enjoying going to the woods and making firewood before the snow flies.

beautiful fall colors. I enjoy watching the changing colors of the trees. My favorite is the bright red shoemack along the country roads.

Beautiful pictures. I really enjoy fall colors but here in our part of NE Pa. They have only started to turn as of yet. Of course all of our Ash trees are either dead or dying. What a shame. Keep the pictures coming. Thank You

I went to get a tube for tractor tire yesterday. Over between Portland and Lake Odessa they had some beans done and some wheat planted it looked like. Lots of beans and corn there looked a lot drier than over by us. Silage was done on a lot of places or were chopping as we went by. Was a beautiful day for a trip. Took back roads over and some back.

Got some outstanding fall colour here in Sask. now too. It does not last long so I had to take a quick cruise in the Merc two mornings ago for some photos and video.

Channel 214 on dish, The Weather Channel shows weather pickup cameras around the country when they are covering a certain area. Today they were up in Vermont and the colors were fabulous. Like your colors but no greens. Everything was tan through red. Really pretty. Then only way I get colors on trees is Crepe myrtle blossoms and then in the fall when the leaves die prior to falling off they are beautiful.....so I don't have to to the NE to see pretty trees....grin.
