Nice, like little statues in memory of
another time in farming.
I have a can embossed with my
grandfather's name.
I remember my dad hauling gas in one in
the early 70's, hike that 8 gallons up on
top of a Massey Harris 33, he had a
galvanized funnel painted burnt orange.
Cherished memories.

Got one of those on the front porch.
I remember when they would come by my uncle's farm and pick those up every day.

Dad went Grade A in about 1954, but earlier, when I was 2 or 3 years old, he shipped in cans to Darigold. I couldn't pronounce Darigold, so I called the driver "the daddygoat man". Parents got a kick out of
it, because he was pretty gruff, and my name fit him.
