Cut until dark. Hopefully we will stay dry. Calling for more tropical rain late week

Hope you can get it baled by Wed.
Just looked at your forecast.
I see yall are a balmy 60 degrees this morning.
We are a chilly 49 with wind here.

I need you up here I'm getting tired of making hay I don't really need and the Fall crop is surprisingly heavy.Have cut hard the lat 2 days, get that baled up, one more day of cutting and think I'm going to bush hog the rest.

How do you like the wide front vs narrow front? If I remember right you have both on your row crop Fords. I have a good wide front on a pallet in the shed. I'd like to put the wide front on my 4000 (or 981 when I get it running) but I am a little concerned about the tractor being a little clumsier without being able to turn as sharp and it does seem like the front wheels get moved forward a few inches with the wide front option. I understand why they made the wide front the way they did, needed room for a front mount cultivator, but it does look a little awkward sometimes with the front wheels pushed forward on the WF.

Richard....i was having a great morning until I saw the forecast. It wasn't supposed to rain until Thursday afternoon......that changed.

Surprisingly the wide front steers as easy as the narrow front. I have one narrow front with power steering one with out. The wide doesn't have power steering. all of them handle great. I actually like the wide front for cutting the hay. Seems easier.....

You could mount some of the wide fronts in a way-forward position or a little farther back.
Farther back would obviously turn sharper.
