nice looking rig. What year? is it a standard or the 4L80 trans. We have had a few of em and like em. I think they got a bad wrap.

I had one they are a lot harder to work on and built light for a 3/4 ton but not bad for pulling the horse trailer or light loads. They are nice to drive. I would have rebuilt the other one but everything on it and in it was broken and falling apart all the trim in the cab and outside the cab so it got sold . This one is a 5 speed and is in pretty good shape. Going to relocate the fsd and replace both dampers and it shoild run a long time I think . Keep the heavy truck for service and pulling the big stuff

The 2000 model 6.5L with 4L80,4X4 got a 13 mpg when not pulling a trailer. I put 3 FSD on it while I owned it. Last FSD I mounted under Ranch hand frt bumper attempting to keep it cooler.

I had one in a 2000 crew cab 3500. Not a bad engine but mine wanted to heat up going up hills even not towing. I put a duramax fan on it, additive in the radiator, and still did it. Great truck for riding around in.

hat is FSD???

I put a lower temp thermostat flushed the system and washed
the fins with the radiator genie and purple power and didn’t
have any trouble after that

We still have one.. its a 93 standard cab 5spd.. 93 still has the complete Mechanical pump. :) no fsd to mess with. I use to make a monthly run to ogden in it 80MPH 20MPG!!! I changed the a/c condensor it had lots of build up between it and the radiator cleaned em and the heat problem went away..

The electronic pumps are good for about 15 that was with the automatic transmission until i put tires with tread on them and then it dropped to 13
