Mini Split colors

Putting in this system and can't find any real info on the wiring. The schematic shows "yellow or black" and a Brown, the install manual says follow the label. No mention of White. I think I have it right, but it is a head scratcher. Are yellow and brown European colors, there was a lot about rules of refrigerant disposal laws the pertain to the EU.
Funny thing is this system is made by Blue Ridge and when I called their 800 number I got a "Blue Cross Blue Shield" answering machine, someone must have googled the name and used the first response.

You're talking about the connection between the outdoor and indoor units, right? Apparently your cable has different colors than what the instructions specify. The important thing is that the outdoor and indoor units are wired the same.

Nice work, BTW.

L1 and L2 are your hot feeds for 240V and as Mark says make sure your colours for 1/2/3 match up with those of your indoor unit.

From what I see, L1 and L2 are your incoming 230VAC, no neutral, YG is the safety ground.

Then 1 and 2 send 230VAC back in to the indoor unit.

Wire 3 is likely the signal from the thermostat to tell the compressor to run.

Can,t tell you about the air but I have the same Generac and sure have been satisfied now for seven years and 350+ running hours.

It's not that simple. I don't think 240V makes it up to the indoor unit. I think the three wires are a combination of DC power and digital communication between the outdoor and indoor units.

Is not the item labeled 1 2 3 L1 L2 a simple terminal strip??
i.e. the upper terminals are jumpered to the lower terminals?

I do know Blueridge is Alpine, I watched the video a couple times and it is good, but vague on details like wire color. Funny thing is I called the customer service number on their paperwork and got a nice person at Blue Cross Blue Shield. Typo I guess.
Thanks for the help, I did double check that inside and outside match.I would have test run it today, but the Eaton breaker I had was the wrong style. Round trip to get a replacement is over an hour, so I went at the end of the day.
