Case sc weak spark

Got an SC with a Delco distributor. Been having trouble with weak to no spark. Cranking over it only puts out a small yellow spark once I let go of the button.
Put new points in with no change. I've got good power to the distributor I believe. Wondering if the coil or resistor may be bad. I wondered if they can be checked but it got too dark tonight.

Never had problems before and it always ran good. This is after the tractor has been sitting for a while though.

Weak spark can be caused by a number of things
#1 starter going bad drawing to many amps so taking away from the coil power.
#2 points gaped wrong or dirty
Coil getting weak/bad
Resister going bad but easy to trouble shoot by jumping across the resister for hotter spark
Ignition switch getting bad
Or poor battery cable connection of bad cables
 
with a helper crank it over in the dark,
and see if the spark is jumping off the cap, wires
or a cracked cap or coil tower, check rotor carefully
on the under side for cracks.
 
also check Every place it transfers power, I have seen many times it be the connection between the distributor post and the breaker mounting plate/ mounting plate and points has rusted and is not giving full voltage,, easy to check with a volt meter if the other suggestions here do not pan out,, I also like to turn the engine until the points close and use a screw driver to open the points for testing with the coil wire set close to a ground a whole lot easier to diagnosis than turning the engine to me,,
