Fire is running fast and we have been placed on level 2. Looking for places to move ours and neighbors animals too. This is going to be mine and the wife's worst nightmare. Anyone that is close to us, but out of harms way that would welcome some animals please let me know. TIA Arlen

Those fires up there are ugly. Just drive up and back to OR. Parts of 5 were closed at times. Smoke thick enough to use a spoon on.

Don't know where you are, but Douglas county opened the fairgrounds for animal storage.

Wishing you the best.

Crazy times Arlen! I dont know if it's safe anywhere. Fires going up all around me but so far I'm in the clear. I dont have much room here but would make something work if it comes down to that. Lane county fairgrounds is taking in horses from the fires down here.

Where are you located?
I am in Cornelius. I helped some family and friends evac from bald peak fire. I will help if I can but I dont have access to fenced property but i have heard of others offering their empty fenced pastures.
I know some have brought animals to Washington county fairgrounds and yamhill county fairgrounds.

Looks like you're around Damascus, OR, according to the member map. I'm at Chehalis, WA (90 miles north of Portland). I have about 7 acres of fenced pasture with water, but I realize its kind of a far piece away.

I sent you a text with my address in Yamhill County. I've got a couple fenced acres and water. I loaned my round pen to some neighbors who are taking in stock from Clackamas County and have two friends from Canby staying at the house. I left the gate open if I'm at work when you need to move them.

I heading in to work. In case phones go down and all you have is internet
Address : 18560 NE North Valley Rd Newberg 97132. We are 5 miles NW of Newberg
Don't let GPS take you over Bell Rd after you come through Sherwood. Come through Newberg on 99W and then you turn on to Hwy 240 at the west end of town.
Come in the driveway 100 feet and you'll see I left the gate open to the pasture on your left. There's an empty stock trough in there but a hydrant and hose is 15 feet away. I'll be home after 2.

Stay alert and be safe. Let me take this one worry off your plate.

Arlen,I'm just across the river in Clark County.Have fenced pasture and a livestock trailer if you need help.
