Probably start right up and go to work, they are one tough customer. Dad and grandfather used a pair to skid logs and one came home to the farm after they bought the C4 Tree Farmer, which had the same motor. Between the two I spent a lot of hours behind that 220 ford diesel. In 1964 dad bought a brand new 3020 power shift diesel and the Major came home to the farm. My dad and uncle got to drive the 3020 and I got to disk and drag with the Major. I don't think you could run one with out smelling like diesel. Any fuel that got slopped out would run down the tank seam and drip on your leg. Used to like to use it to haul hay wagon as they have good road speed and you cane shift the range shiftier on the go.

Never saw a pair of back tires with that tread on them. English?

You see that tire tread a lot in Europe; they say it helps to keep sticky clay soil from sticking.
