I know what a nice one is worth but trying to figure out what ours is worth. We used it for scraping down manure for the last 12 years we milked. The good points,Kubota engine works flawlessly, excellent hydraulic pressure. The rest is rough and worn. Very badly rusted rims, badly worn bucket pins, badly worn foot controls, no decals, much paint missing, the BICS computer died so we over rid the safety locks. A guy asked if we’d sell it when we no longer need it which will be in the next few months. There’s 4600 hours on it. A good one is on market book websites for $10 000 Canadian and up ,I figure this ones worth probably less than $5000. Just don’t see any this rough online except one for $7500 with a bad engine. Any input appreciated.

I think it would bring 5 Grand all day long. Sounds like a few mostly easy repairs. Cosmetic rust repair anyone can do, and a good welding shop can replace the cutting edge on the bucket for a fraction of the cost of a new bucket. I would be inclined to make the repairs then offer it for $7,500.

Out west here, I would say in the 8k - 12k ballpark. A solid drivetrain is worth a fair bit, the rest is not hard to fix. Yesterday, on the Edmonton Ritchie Bros auction, a 1985 Bobcat 975 with over 25,000 hours sold for 9500. If you have a Ritchie Bros account, you can view the results of past auctions to get a rough idea of what going auction price is in your general area.
