not really. can try and spray it with clear coat and see if that helps. but the sun will just do the same anyhow.

New ones aren't that expensive to mess with an old one.

I would try some of that stuff used for cleaning headlights. Not sure what it is called.

The aftermarket replacements seem to be not as durable as the originals. They crack easily.

Yes, that will clean up. Sand first with 1500, then 2000, then buff with red then white buffing compound.

Agree, but I would take it to 4000. When polishing headlights, usually go to 5000 before buffing.
