Have not been on the site for some time and was doing some searching for information on 567's. JD Seller always had good information on these type of JD balers and noticed he hasn't posted in some time. He and his family racked up a lot of bales on these type of balers. Hope all is still well for him.

I was thinking of him yesterday as i was eating skyline chilli. I think his wife likes it.
What kind of baler trouble are you having?

Nothing serious, just noticed the rear lower end gate roller is probably getting thin, as you can feel ridges where the belts run. It has around 37,000 on it. Was wondering how far to run it before replacing.

Good to know.

Years ago we had the Red tractor owner from, was it Kansas, that posted a lot of interesting day to day stuff, then went away.

JD Seller was similar, in Green.

I imagine a person burns out and moves on after a while.

I enjoy the time they share with us.

I had been missing him too - found most all his posts interesting, sometimes entertaining, and many thoughts based on wisdom from years of life experiences - some bad, but many good and instructive. I think I would like to visit him, but don't often get out to Iowa from North Carolina. I used to think he was an older man willing to share from his wealth of life experiences - then figured out he might be a year or so younger than me!!

We also had James and his wife from east Texas- they had a zillion 2 cyl. JD's, all with names, and he posted nice videos of them working. Hope they came through hurricane Laura all right.

We were on the western edge of the storm and got some much needed rain.

I check in every day for the news, weather, and <s>sports</s> puzzle.

Since we no longer make hay, most of <a href="https://youtu.be/Ibap1Vqy3Gw">our tractors</a> now sit idle.

Thanks for checking on us.

(quoted from post at 04:19:27 08/31/20) allen in Nebraska hasn't posted on here for a long time his house burned i thinking.

There was a post on here about him a few weeks back. He was having issues reviving his old handle and had a new one. Don't remember the new one off hand, but he's still around some.

Some time ago he posted that he was leaving the forum and explained the reasons. Nothing wrong with the site, just things changing in his life and his adjustment decisions.
