I don't think I did too bad

I found this at an online auction the other day 1951 8N Ford, all they said is "not running" after looking it over I decided to bid and got it for $300. The starter drive is broke so we pulled the starter off and checked all fluids added some fresh gas cleaned the points and plugs, pulled it about 15 feet and it runs. Pretty decent original condition but has been repainted at some point, tires are decent "not flat or split" still original 6 volt. Just a few minor repairs and it'll be a nice little tractor.

Your great find was apparently just 12 miles to my west. There are on site consignment auctions held there three times a year and I've been able to pick up a few "good buys".

Yeah, Canning Auction in Murphysboro, about 30 minutes south of my place. I think they're having another sale in just a few weeks.
