A local contractor to me bought a HD5 new in 1948 and he also farmed a clay land
farm with this and 2 AC Bs. When I was a lad I often watched it working and the
sound of 2cyl Detroit diesel engine was something I had never herd before. His son
still works the tractor on the same farm. MJ
