Got me a new pup. One of my daughter's friends had to get rid of this dog, I wanted a cattle dog, so I have a new dog. It's a red healer, same as blue healer but different color. He's about a year old. He needs an appropriate name, suggestions welcome.

MEWDDS....Mobile Early Warning Detection and Deterrent System....with that sort of description, he would be 100 per cent tax deductible..

My first idea was Jim. But I'm not sure now. Lots of good ideas here. Thought about Case, but haven't warmed to that yet. I like Abe tho. Right now I'm leaning that way. But keep the ideas coming.

Nice looking pump. Heelers are my favorite. Looks like a cow chasing will do him some good. Maybe try looking up some names on the net. Have fun with you new pup.

call him something that is similar to his current name Important thing is to make
commitment here. Which i am sure you will. Nothing ticks me off more than when people
get a dog and 6 months later do not have time for them. You will get out of him what
you put into him

I agree with "Jake". The best dog (a mixed Blue Heeler) this old man ever had in his long life. I thank the Good Lord nearly every day for the loyalty and companionship that special dog gave me for over eleven years.

obviously there needs to be a Case connection, so how about Jay I See ( after Cases race horse ), ABE (as mentioned below ) DOM ( dog-o-matic ), Sunny ( desert sunset ). that's all I have for now. Bill

(quoted from post at 07:30:25 08/22/20) I like Buster, Rocky or Jake.
skum or Askim. Sounds like "ask him" . So when people ask what's his name you can just say Askum and see what kind of reaction you get.

Ha! That's great Jon, I've always used normal names for animals that we name, for your new dog I was thinking he looks like a, "Joe". Had a turkey named Jack, current cat named Ken, another one named Tony, a pig named Johnson (pronounced Yahnson of course you betcha'). You get the drift.

Be a little different and use a tractor part.

Axle, drawbar, injector, valve, ring, sleeve, gear, meter, tank, switch, light, choke, muffler, seat, brake, clutch, lever, (could go on and on)

Named my first one Tucker so people wouldnt know when I was cursing at him. Never had to though. He was a great dog. He would follow the tractor until he dropped if I let him.
