The 'Pine gulch' fire. It is now the second larget fire in Colorado history. Soon to be the largest.Only about 14% contained.Started by a lightning strike. The smoke here(Delta) is so thick we only had about one mile visibility. We can see smoke hanging in the air.We also have the 'Grizzly Creek' fire east of Glenwood Springs. It has had I-70 closed for a week now. There is another fire just south of Glenwood('only' 40 acres). They are evacuateing some nearby areas. We hope and pray Grand Mesa ,The Uncompahgre,The Gunnison forests dont catch fire. It's DRY,worst drought ever. Even worse than 2018.

SV, if you're where I think you are, you may be catching some smoke from our side of the line. There is a fire at Penticton, and another one in the southeast corner of BC at Canal flats. A little smoky around here, but not too bad. I'm just north of Porthill. unc

I forgot to mention that picture is 10 days old. I hope you all out there stay safe. Obviously the wind had shifted to bring the ash to GJ. Hopefully the fire stays away.

I didn’t realize there was that many big fires going holy cow 🐄. The smoke is so thick here today I cant even see the mountains
